Bąk: Thank you to the team for their attitude
The White Star's second-placed team added another important set of points! On Saturday, the Kraków team put in a great performance in their league clash with Star Starachowice, leaving the pitch in high spirits after the match ended, having won 3-1. The team's coach, Bartosz Bąk, praised the team's performance during the press conference.
Wisła attacked Star Starachowice with aplomb and put intense pressure on their opponents from the outset, creating a multitude of good chances. Unfortunately, the first half produced only one goal on target, and that went to the visitors. However, after the break, the hosts brought out the heavy guns, allowing them to secure their dream victory. In the second half, Igor Sapała first showed off his efficiency, Patryk Moskiewicz added a second on target, and Karol Tokaczyk sealed the Kraków side's victory with a stoppage-time goal. As the coach recalls, the team demonstrated not only high skill but also responsibility, fighting spirit, and commitment.
"I can confidently say that the first half of this match was our best in all our matches played in the third league so far. We went into the break feeling a bit dissatisfied, with positive aggression and a desire to quickly get back on the pitch to fight for a change of pace. After the break, there was less fluidity in the game, less ball possession, but on the other hand, we played like a senior team. Our team is dominated by very young players who recently participated in youth competitions, and as we remember, in previous matches there were moments when we lacked a cool head or the right reactions to complete the scoring. Returning to the first half, we had many scoring opportunities, but lacked effectiveness and good finishing. I saw anger in them at halftime, I saw the will to fight and great determination to score goals. I thank the team for their attitude throughout the match and congratulate them on their well-deserved victory," said coach Bartosz Bąk during the press conference.
