Anton Chichkan joins Wisła Kraków
28-year-old goalkeeper Anton Chickhan joins Wisła Kraków. The contract runs until June 4, 2024, and includes an option to extend.
Anton Chichan was born on July 10, 1995, in Minsk, Belarus. His first club was BATE Borisov, where he rose through the ranks – from the youth ranks, through the reserves, and finally the first team. Before winning the Belarusian championship with BATE in the 2017/2018 season, he spent time on loan at FC Smolevichi, where he gained experience. Upon his return, the team's strong performances allowed him to play not only at the national level but also in qualifying for the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. He made a total of 77 senior appearances for the club, including 26 without conceding a goal.
His next stop was FC Ufa. His appearance record now stands at six, having moved to Dinamo Tbilisi in September 2022. A year later, he was the goalkeeper for another Georgian club, Dinamo Batumi, where he made 23 league and European appearances.
Anton Chichkan has won 3 Belarusian championships, 2 Belarusian Cups, 1 Belarusian Super Cup and 2 Georgian championships.
