Albert Rudé, coach of Wisła Kraków

Everything is now clear! 37-year-old coach Albert Rudé will take over the Wisła Kraków first team. The contract runs until June 30, 2024, and includes an option to extend.

Albert Rudé was born on September 18, 1987, in Girona. After retiring from football at the age of 24, he began working on his own development, earning a degree in sports science and defending his doctorate in Sport Science at the Universitat Central de Catalunya. The next step in his career was establishing his own coaching school, MBP, which provides consulting services to over 15 leagues and federations, while also educating coaches worldwide using advanced training methods. The new White Star coach holds a UEFA PRO license. Albert Red He is also the author of books and publications on the process of building modern football teams.

In December 2015, he became assistant coach to Diego Martin Alonso at CF Pachuca, a Liga MX team. Within three years, the team won the league title, the CONCACAF Champions League, and a bronze medal at the 2017 Club World Cup. This wasn't the end of his adventure in Mexico's top league, as his next stops were Querétaro FC Youth and CF Monterrey.

January 2020 brought a new challenge: a move to Inter Miami CF and working with Diego Martinez Alonso and David Beckham in the club's inaugural season in MLS. A multi-year collaboration with Diego Martin Alonso, who coached the Uruguayan national team at the last World Cup and most recently served as head coach of FC Sevilla, resulted in numerous successes and extensive experience, which added value in subsequent stages of his career.

In 2021, Albert Rudé took over as the sole head coach of Costa Rica's LD Alajuelense, one of the country's biggest teams. Under his leadership, the team finished the regular season in first place with 83 points and a 35-goal difference over the second-place team. The most recent club on his football resume is Spanish CD Castellón, where he and his players reached the playoffs. The club is known in particular for its use of data and new technologies in its training process.

Mariusz Jop will be the assistant head coach. Eric Lira Fernandez will also join the coaching staff, which currently includes Kazimierz Kmiecik and Michał Siwierski as assistants.

Welcome to R22 and good luck, coach!
